Juan David González Sánchez

The Colombian baritone Juan David González is a musician with a major training area in lyric singing, graduated Suma Cum Laude at the Juan N. Corpas University Foundation Music School in Bogotá. He was selected as a fellow of the Carolina Foundation, which allowed him to carry out further studies at the Liceu Conservatory in Barcelona with the Catalan tenor Eduard Giménez. He then moved to Madrid where he continued his higher studies in the “Alfredo Kraus” Class of the Reina Sofía Superior School of Music with the teachers Tom Krause and Ryland Davies.

Since 2008 he has been a soloist in important productions of the Opera of Colombia, Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo, Teatro Colón de Bogotá, with the zarzuela of the Jaime Manzur Foundation, with the Cartagena International Music Festival in its IX, XI, and XII editions and in the International Opera Studio of Gijón (Asturias). Also soloist with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Bogotá, the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Cali and at the Opera at the Park festivals. He has made tours and recitals in different stages of Spain, Italy, and Colombia.
